Your Krav Maga Instructor
Shavez Parkinson has been teaching Krav Maga for 3 years and trained for over 6 years. He has also studied Boxing, Muay Thai and Eskrima (Filipino stick/knife fighting) before finding his calling with Krav Maga and sharing it with others. He has lived and trained in a variety of countries and as a result strives to create the most inclusive environment possible at Defender Krav Maga. Shavez's teaching focuses on learning controlled aggression, tactical awareness and technical competence over time in a positive environment. Krav Maga isn't about never getting hit, it's about learning the best way to recover when we do!!
Training Times
Note: Bringing a groin guard is recommended if you have one but not mandatory for first-timers. However you will need one for long term training.
Wednesday Evening 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Class run from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday evening at Level 2 Karori Community Centre, 7 Beauchamp Street, Karori, Wellington
Saturday Afternoon
3:00pm - 4:30pm
Class run from 3:00pm to 4:30pm on Saturday afternoon at Dynamic Being Gym 1 Beauchamp Street Karori, Wellington
